One of the youngest and highly accomplish musicians who has worked with well known local and international artist such as Nas & Damian 'Jr Gong' Marley, Stephen Marley, T.O.K, Bounty Killer, Movado, just to name a few. With music to warm your hearts and vocals to soothe the soul, you can't help but to pay attention to Further Notice. Creating a new sound that waves across the music arena, they are young, talented and definitely an artiste to Notice.
Further Notice Band has been in existence for over eight (8) years. The Band consists of Llamar Brown (Riff Raff) on Keyboards, Andrae Carter (Wang) Guitar, Ruel Moncrieffe (Klyvve) Vocalist, Boltar Solomon (Montana) Vocalist, Wayne Thompson (Unga) Drums and Jason Welsh (Big Bass) on Bass.
Their musical journey as a band started at Edna Manley College, School of Music doing the same programme. Preparing for a concert as they were getting ready to go on stage their lecturer/mentor and host of the concert Michael 'Ibo' Cooper (former keyboardist of Third World) asked what's the name of the band while they didn't have a name prepared Ibo went on to say 'Until Further Notice'. They later dropped the Until and kept Further Notice.
The Mission is to heal the world through their music and they are determine to continue exploring new horizons and universally connect with the heart and soul of the people. Creating music from their souls and a mixture of all their personal influences create the sound of Further Notice Band which should not be mistaken for hype, they are a complete package of quality substance. |
